I always hear this about “scantily clad women” being told they deserve it, yet I’ve never heard it out of an actual person’s mouth. Maybe I’ve just magically missed hearing people expressing this opinion, but to be honest I really doubt it. I don’t doubt that there are some morons who think it’s…

Twenty years isn’t enough for that crime, period. Even more, even though that piece of shit is disgusting? The fact that society tells us that rape is a suitable punishment translates to, hello, rape culture. ‘They had it coming’, ‘Should’ve been aware’. These are things that TO THIS DAY happen EVERYWHERE, not only your country which, mind, ALSO happen there!

And sure Canada/USA isn’t a rape culture. SURE. That’s why frat people in YOUR country treat women like this. Oh, I’m sorry, you’re saying they somehow don’t belong to your country’s culture, sure.

How about this: http://www.aolnews.com/2011/03/08/in-2-gang-rape-cases-communities-blame-11-year-old-victims/ or http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/09/us/09assault.html?_r=4&hp
Residents in the neighborhood where the abandoned trailer stands — known as the Quarters — said the victim had been visiting various friends there for months. They said she dressed older than her age, wearing makeup and fashions more appropriate to a woman in her 20s. She would hang out with teenage boys at a playground, some said.

Rottenberg’s editor’s letter, published on June 6th, is titled ‘Male Sexual Abuse and Female Naivete,’ six words that from the get-go suggest if women were to act more responsibly, men wouldn’t commit “sex abuse,” i.e rape. The letter is accompanied by a photo of Logan on the red carpet, wearing a v-line neck dress and smiling for the cameras. The caption under the photo reads, “What message was the TV journalist Lara Logan sending here?”

Rottenberg goes on, “Earth to liberated women: when you display legs, thighs, or cleavage, some liberated men will see it as a sign you feel good about yourself and your sexuality. But most men will see it as a sign you want to get laid. Forewarned is forearmed.”

Still don’t count?

Rape culture exists in the whole world, person. Is not something that happens in just one small country, which you seem to believe. It’s not me searching under the stones like a demented boy screaming wolf only instead it’s “Rape, rape, there is rape happening!”. If ‘hopeful women’ are saying that? It’s because THERE IS.

Put in very simple terms, once again: Your body. Your right to say who gets to touch it. Not your duty to tell people NOT to touch it.

And don’t worry, person. It IS the last thing you hear for me because I’ve wasted enough time with you and your victim blaming tendencies.

You know what, dear? Give that stupid asshole this: There it goes, the last fuck I give.

Frankly? I blocked sie after sie put a ‘I have victim blaming tendencies? Where?’ post, so, really, sie can spout as much bull as sie wants, I’m going to submerge myself in kittens to get the bad taste from my mouth.
